WHO WE ARE

The Peoples Church is a multi-denominational church with a diverse and welcoming congregation. Membership includes young families through seniors and offers opportunities for all to grow. Being in downtown East Lansing and in close proximity to Michigan State University, The Peoples Church is a popular worship destination among MSU students and faculty as well as for the entire community. All are welcome!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Participation in a faith community is personal and communal, formal and informal, sincere and casual. The Peoples Church recognizes that people come to worship God in joy and pain, faith and doubt, and with laughter and tears. There are two services each Sunday—one at 8:30 a.m. in the McCune Chapel and one at 10:30 a.m. in the main Sanctuary. Both services are traditional in style with Children’s Sunday school offered during the 10:30 a.m. service.

Upon arrival, visitors will find a welcoming environment. Staff and volunteers will greet you and are available to help.

LOCATION

PARKING AND ACCESSIBILITY

Parking is available on-site in the parking lot on the west side of the building and in the surrounding city lots (meters are not active on Sundays). There is a wheelchair accessible ramp at the elevator entrance on the north side of the building. There is also an accessible, gender-neutral private bathroom on the main floor.

Large print bulletins are available at both services and amplifying earpieces are available at the 10:30 a.m. service upon request. Please let ushers know how they might help you be comfortable here.

CHILDCARE & SUNDAY SCHOOL

For those with children, be assured that noises and wiggling are signs of a church that is alive and growing; your entire family is welcome in worship.

For infants and toddlers, childcare is provided on the second floor and supervised by staff from our nationally accredited preschool. These are wonderful professionals who are fully vaccinated and CPR trained. Nursery begins at 10:30 a.m.

For children 3 years to 5th grade, we offer Sunday School on the third floor. Sunday School begins after the Children’s Moment of our 10:30 a.m. service. It is a wonderful opportunity for young children to learn age-appropriate lessons, do a craft, and connect with one another.
