Peoples Church Campus Ministry is a welcoming place to explore your faith and grow alongside other students; many of us Christian, some of us wondering, all of us welcome.  The Peoples Church is a multi-denominational worship community that gathers right across the street from MSU and has a proud history of celebrating that we are part of the MSU and East Lansing community by welcoming and supporting our students. Peoples Church Campus Ministry, open to undergrads, graduate students, and young adults, offers weekly programs, special events focused on fun and service, and worship at the church. You are always welcome to be yourself here as you worship God and find fellowship with other young Christians with faith, questions and hopes of their own. Just as our college experience is uniquely our own, so is our Christian journey.

Whether you are looking for a group to belong to, a place to serve, a worship service to attend or a space to feel welcome and meet other students, Peoples Church Campus Ministry invites you to be part of us.

Our year together is starting off great with returning students welcoming new students into our community.  Below is a good overview of our regular weekly offerings, and be sure to check out our events page for special programs.  You are welcome whenever you can make it, you are welcome whoever you are and wherever you are on your faith journey.  Please contact me, Betsy, with any questions.  I am here to welcome you!

[All weekly events take place at The Peoples Church, which is conveniently located close to the north side of the MSU campus.]

10:30 a.m. - Worship Service in the Main Sanctuary. ALL ARE WELCOME: Whether you are young or old, rich or poor, doubtful of hopeful...no matter where you are in your faith journey, YOU are welcome here.  Jesus Christ didn't turn people away; neither do we.

11:30 a.m. - Lunch & Lounge - (begins September 10, 2017)  Lunch & Lounge takes place following worship throughout the school year.  We gather for lunch (FREE!) and a variety of discussions and activities in The Lounge, a comfy space dedicated to Campus Ministry at The Peoples Church.  Look for the Peoples Church Campus Ministry sign after worship in the back of the sanctuary (in the space we call Friendship Hall).  Just show up and we will welcome you and feed you.  Not sure how to start coming to Peoples Church Campus Ministry? Lunch & Lounge is a great first thing any time during the school year.

5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Open Study in The Lounge

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - (begins September 14, 2017) Peoples Church Campus Ministry gathers in The Lounge in the church's lower level for conversational Bible Study that is open to people in every stage of their faith journey.  We will begin with a home cooked (FREE!) meal, and then study the passages that will be preached on the following Sunday as a way of enriching our worship experience and understanding.  Our style of Bible Study invites questions and answers, conversation and wonderings.  We apply the scripture to our lives and experiences and learn from God and one another.

Begins September 13, 2017.  We don't have specific Campus Ministry offerings during Wednesday Night Live, but you are welcome to join us for the Adult Education programs, or volunteer with our Children and Youth programs.

5:30-6:30 p.m. - A freshly prepared, free Community Meal in Snider Social Hall.

6:30-7:30 p.m. - A variety of educational programs and discussions for all ages. The offerings vary from week to week, but they are aimed to appeal to a wide audience and everyone is welcome.
